Log Spliiter

There was a link posted a few weeks ago for a manual lever operated log splitter. It used a moving (ratchet like) pivot point to allow slow splitting of logs using leverage force rather than mass and momentum. I looked but I can't find the original thread. Anybody remember the link?

No, but a post about that item over in the woodworking group I read is what reminded me of the one I was thinking of.

I don't recall seeing a splitter with a moving pivot point in that thread. There were links to splitters like the following.
