I've acquired some aluminum 6061-T611 Plate. How is this different from
6061-T6. Is it machinable? Can you weld it? What filler rod would you use?

Here is a list of tempers for aluminum. The T611 is listed as only applying to forgings though. Are you sure it is not T651? that is a common temper for 6061 plate aluminum.
