Need trouble shooting help with sand blaster Empire PF 3648

I can't get this Empire PF 3648 sandblaster to put out anything but air. I just poured about 25# of 60 grit glass beads in it but they don't come out the nozzle. I'm getting air and no beads. Anyone have any ideas? This is a suction type large cabinet model.

Thanks kindly.

if its like our empire, the gravity feed hose coming out of the separator tank is supposed to have a quarter inch gap when you put your pinkie in the hole the gravity feed hose in the nozzle end should be as close as possible to the air nozzle do you have the proper nozzle/ air feed tube for glass bead? is there to much water in you system causing the beads to compact together? did you over fill the separator tank?

It's plugged - try removing the suction hose and running a coathanger through it or something.

On the outside chance that the feed tube is plugged, it's simple to clear by placing your hand over the nozzle and stepping on the peddle. That forces air back through the pickup and clears it.
