OT: How would you do on a citizenship test?

Questions 41 and 47 are California-specific, so there's no harm no foul if you're not a Californian, although maybe give yourself extra credit if you get them.

It's self-scoring; all the answers are at the bottom of the page, so we're on the honor system, as if any of the political extremists (from either wing of the Statist Party) have any honor.

That's sad. That a newspaper would consider those questions a measure of an adult's "... knowledge of U.S. civics and history." Oh ... maybe the Orange County Register isn't intended for adults. If it's audience is 10 year olds, the quiz would make sense.

50 out of 50. There are a couple with two answers though.

For instance the postal service was started by the government and is still under their wing although it is declared to be an independent entity.

And the one about amendments. Those can be for state laws or for the Constitution.

Plus the one about what the Constitution does, it does protect basic rights and it also defines who can vote.
