question about aluminum sheet

i have several circular plates of approx. 1/8 inch aluminum that iwould liket to cut a patern into. i can cut the basic shape of thecompleted peice with a saw, but need some ideas of drilling andgrinding a decorative patern into the shape. I do not have any of thetype of equipment i have seen talked about here, My most exotic toolis a drill press, and i am not a metal worker, by any definition ofthe word. I can braze refrigeration tubing and have Oxy/Acet torch,but cant think that it would be much help for what i want done.TIA far any and all help that can be offered

I may have mentioned this to you before, but my wife's cousin works for Taylor (or he did). He designed their "Living Jewel" blue guitar with the inlaid koi fish.

Taylor guitars is a very impressive outfit. very laidback about attire but super serious about quality and forward thinking They tell you when you want an interview to wear jeans, a tshirt and sneakers. They have a huge campus of buildings in El Cajon and recording studios. The Jewel model is a beauty (as is she) and they are magnificent instruments
