Record and Paramo vices

Someone trying to bend a bar over the front - back to front - instead of in reverse. Likely the vice wasn't strong enough for either direction.

Had a look for your pictures of the cross slide stop but they don't seem to be working. The page shows up but the pictures don't appear.

Hi Ken,

It still doesn't work. Your image links are addressed to local files. The following code will fix the first two images, but there is still something wrong with the third image file name. Fix that in the code below and that should work too :)

Viewing the source it looks like it's pointing to your hard drive for the images, you need to upload them and change the pointer to the correct files.

I'll go one step beyond Dave's guess. The discoloration at the upper right seems to correspond with a stain on the painted area. It looks like something was spilled, oil, solvent, etc. There is a good chance that the discoloration in the broken area was a pre-existing crack. Eventually, the crack spread.

Dave has a keen eye to spot that discoloration.
