seeking Airco cutting tip data

Oct 10, 2005 3 Replies

Having turned overnight into one of the world's great collectors of Airco cutting torch tips, I now need a tip data table. Need to know Airco tip sizes vs. steel thickness, also gas pressures recommended for tip sizes. Ideally by tip type e.g. 124, 144, 164.

Lots of references to "ask your manufacturer" but Airco is out of business and other vendors that sell Airco compatible tips just sell sizes 0-4 and map all jobs onto those sizes which is ridiculous because I now own sizes 00-13 and I know they had a use.

A No. 13 cutting tip is a fearsome looking item. This isn't a rivet flowing tip or a gouging tip, this is a cutting tip. HUGE.

Uh-oh. It didn't occur to me that anyone would email me something like that. A graphic representation (non-robot-grabbable) is available at:

Thanks, RW, please resend it!

I re-sent it. I hope the chart's what you need. It covers info on tips 144, 263, and A-FS
