If you use OSB on the inside walls, Paint both sides to keep the fumes inside the board. I know a guy who didn't and his dream shop made him sick to the point that he may never be able to work in his shop again. Paint is or a vapor barrier cheap and in my opinion a necessary safety precaution.

I would think that one would want either a roll up door or a horizontal sliding door like a pole barn. The ideal shop would have a hoist that could go anywhere to unload parts or machines from a truck or trailer.

Yes, that is 1/2" drywall. Behind it is an inch of pink foam. The wall is 2 X 6's with 6 inches of fiberglass.
