threaded bracket help needed

Are there any off the shelf metal brackets which are course threaded and accept a 1/2" threaded rod? These would be used to guide the rod down an inside corner of a worktable to a stemless caster. The threaded bolt replaces the stem, and with the bracket, will raise and loser the caster. However, I am trying NOT to have something custom made. Any suggestions?

Couple of questions - Is the table metal that you may be able to buy 1/2" allthread, run a couple of nuts up on it at the appropriate spacing and simply tack weld the nuts to the inside corner of the metal leg? Are you just looking for a vertically adjustable caster, or do you want to be able to pull the caster up far enough that the table legs rest on the floor? Ken.
