Which dry cut off saw?

Dewalt, Millwakee, Porter Cable?

Also how do these type of saws handle lightly rusted metal? Does it dull the teeth? I'll mainly be cutting hot formed steel, does the scale dull the teeth?

I like the Porter Cable and I have had mine for 3 years. Great saw.

Heavy scale can dull the teeth a little, but no much unless it is pretty thick.

The biggest dangers to your saw blade will be hard metals, stainless steels, and a piece slipping in the vise while being cut.

The best source for replacement blades is

You will want at kleast 1 spare blade. As soon as your blade stops cutting clean swap it out or you will start blowing teeth.

Sharpening costs around $25, but every tooth they have to replace is about $3 each.

The 72 tooth blades have been the best for me for most cutting of steel shapes. Stay away from the 90 tooth blades. They are only for extremely thin wall tube.

BTW another really good saw is the Makita 12" dry cut saw. The blades cost less and the saw is really well designed.
