WTB/Trade power cable for Tektronix 323 portable Oscope

Did I not say that I didn't know because I don't have the bandwidth to explore it? What part of "might find" don't you understand?

So much for trying to be helpful. As I wrote I didn't expect anything in return. However I didn't expect to be kicked in the teeth for making an effort.

I guess that's what come when one is of the "wrong" political persuasion. Have a good life, oh superior people.

But still you manage to reply to me directly. Repeatedly.

Actually, I do. I also scan service manuals and email them for free. You remind me of the spammers who constantly post a link to their website when someone is looking for a manual, knowing they don't have it. i also collect and repair old computers to give away to other disabled Veterans, and I am building a "Veteran's News & Information" website for my area.

I have to keep busy, till Hawkie finally comes to Florida to kick my crippled ass. That should take me about 30 seconds, then it's back to my volunteer work! :)

Not going to happen, while the door knob is firmly planted in your ass.

I hope you've added steel mesh to those back windows by now, Gunner. And a silent alarm which sets off the beeper in your pocket, so you can properly show your burglars how happy you are that they're breaking into the van. Won't _they_ be surprised?

Yeah, barns aren't usually temp/hum controlled. Cal is a good idea. ;)

In the works. Their surprise may even be terminal.

Ya think?

You should find a decent, used function generator. You'll need it for some repair work anyway. At one time tektronix gave away a kit of parts to make a fixed frequency square wave generator for people to assemble and use to compare their scope against different tektronix models. Maybe someone still has one laying around?

Yes, as long as they are real switches, not clear plastic drums. My favorite contact and control cleaner was Quiterole, but they are out of business. Caig labs makes some good stuff, but it isn't cheap.

Voltage and current ranges? Single or multiple output? How about some fixed voltage supplies like +/- 12 VDC and +% VDC linear supplies for testing PC boards on the bench?

If the boards are simple single sided, that little Radio Shack desoldering iron works fairly well. If you are working with multi layer, and plated through holes look for Pace equipment. There are also homebrew systems. There are threads on some electronics groups about DIY equipment.

That is the same family as he two Fluke meters I have. Make sure you remove those batteries before they destroy the PC board.

I still miss my '73 Chevy step van. It was a shop on wheels for industrial electronics.

I rarely see surplus probes around here. The nearest electronics surplus store is a 5 hour round trip. These days my health limits my driving to about an hour a day, if I don't want to spend a week in bed with my feet propped above my head.
