I have been given a small Derbyshire lathe by my father-in-law but the tool post is missing and there is no motor or belts.
the pulley block on the lathe is a single one and not a stepped one, he recon's it was used with a sowing machine motor and foot pedal but it seams a little big for a motor of that size.
there is no tool post for it so does any one know if I can get one anywhere please. the thing being the funds are very tight so I don't with to pay an arm and 2 teeth for one.
can anyone give me some ideas please. thanks for your time.
