EN 36 question

Greetings all,

I've got a gear I would like to fabricate out of EN36. Will a 5% cobalt HSS fly cutter cut this stuff if its in the annealed state???

TIA

Greg

EN36 is very soft and easy to machine in the unhardened state. I only use carbide tooling these days myself but you'll have no trouble with HSS.
