Hope some one here has one of these units can answer a simple question.
The dies for the machines what outside diameters are they.
For instnce the Clarke 12 ton unit has 6 dies for formers going from 1/2" to 2" but are they outside diameters or inside diameters of pipe?

Usually the nominal bore, for black iron (BSP size) pipe. There may well be other formers available for other types of pipe, but the chances are that's what will be supplied as original equipment.
