My name is Libor and I am writing from the Czech Republic.
I am currently researching the history of the EXE Precision Surface Grinder and documenting as much technical and historical information as possible for future owners, restorers and enthusiasts of these remarkable machines.
During my research I came across several older discussions where David Billington and Oliver Slocombe generously shared their knowledge and experience with EXE grinders.
I understand that many years have passed since those discussions, but if either David or Oliver is still active, or if any forum member happens to be in contact with them, I would be very grateful if you could pass on my message or help establish contact.
Although I am interested in technical details and spare parts, my primary goal is to preserve historical and technical information about these machines, including their design, manufacture, documentation and maintenance.
Any help, information or advice would be greatly appreciated.
