I wouldn't be surprised if where those 'add-ons' started was Nokia. Or do you think such products get to market without Nokia getting its cut? But if you want to spend a quid or two, get someone to scan it for you. A laser scan will get you a point cloud, reference points for splines, some dimensions. Or maybe you don't want to go to all that trouble and expense. I've reverse engineered stuff like that with calipers, height gages and radius gages. Don't give up because you can't get it free online!!!
