Hero Robot. The front of the case is marked "Heathkit Educational Systems: ETW-18".

This Hero has evidently seen some action. It is being sold AS-IS. There is some cosmetic damages (scratches/marks). The unit seems mostly intact although; the wrist is broken, the case is a little loose on snapping together, one of the keypad buttons is snapped off. There might be a piece of trim missing from the front of the sonar sensor- the sensor itself looks intact. I have never powered it up- It requires a

12v battery (battery not included). There are circuit boards on each of the sides (underneath the gray snap-on covers). This apparently came from an educational background. I'm assuming this worked at one time, but it's possibly only good for parts/cannibalizing. All of the circuit boards and interior look intact though; I have no reason to believe that there is anything wrong with it other than what's listed above. The crack in the wrist or forearm goes all the way through; it has been taped together for shipping.

Included are the following:

"HERO 1 Programming Unit" (the teaching pendant) The 17V charger ET-18 Robot: BASIC Manual ET-18 Robot: Serial Interface Manual ET-18 Robot: Arm Manual

1 foldout diagram of parts (single sheet) 1 foldout schematic of CPU Circuit Board and Arm Drive Board (single sheet) 1 "Illustration Booklet" Arm Parts Pictorial (multiple foldout) 1 HERO-BASIC chip (?)- this was packaged in the box with the ET-18 BASIC Manual. Envelope has never been opened, but outside is marked "ET-1 8-9"
