I am making a robot which I would like to control by my soundcard. when the card makes a sound, any sound, I want it to turn on a momentary switch. Can someone tell me how to do this. Also, how to create different commands using different sounds. thanks

You may want to look into a DTMF tone decoder kit like below, and use the DTMF tones for control. You can record 12 of the 16 tones off of your telephone, and edit them and play them using the windows sound recorder application.
