You can always just go to the JPL site and sign up for your own feed:

Look for the SIGN UP options in the middle of the page. Though I don't know if they have been been sending out the Rover updates lately (which might be why they aren't being posted by the guy?).

You have obviously mistaken me for someone who is not lazy! :-D But, yeah, that is a good idea! If no response I'll jump in the driver's seat.
