Cutting G10

I have some G10 to cut, and do not know what to use. I do not have access to fancy tools. Would a dremel work?

get a tungsten carbide coated jigsaw blade.

you might be able to cut thin stuff with a cutoff wheel, but you'd likely burn it.

Get a small water cooled electric diamond tile saw... Mine cost £29.95, and slices through G10 like a hot knife thru butter, I cut a set of 8 fins in about 20 minutes.. But the best bit is NO G10 DUST!

Just did for me - went through 3mm G10 easily. Not the first time I've used either. Wouldn't recommend it for a lot of cutting though - fine for altimeter mount boards etc., but fins would be a no-no. If you want to do fins, get a table saw or a tile cutter.

I am using it for a alt board, so I am good to go!

Wear a dust mask, the dust from G10 can be very nasty to your lungs.
