and it still does except monday last day of july. as far as I am concerned naram is friday to friday :-) -competition- is monday-friday :-)

the 5 engine saturn was sweet (got video of it to thanks to a victums standing to close to me :-) huahahaha :-)

its a pitty that friday was the only day with visciously nasty overcast icky skies. gorgeous blue all week except the day I get some of my best pictures :-( and I got really lucky on friday with soem amazing shots. spoiled by the nasty gray goo of a sky :-( grrrrr :-)

sadly this year the sport range was nearly dead most of the week including the weeiend :-( hopefully it will pick back up next year. normally sport range is killer busy at naram !!

We have basements (especially in the hillier areas), but they generally cost a lot more. My neighborhood--no basements :(

Schools opened in four districts in Atlanta the day NARAM opened this year. This week another district opened, and by next week all will be open.

Seemed like a good idea at first, but now some people are starting to complain. Vacation was always ~June 1 to ~Labor Day for me.

That reminds me. We used to have frost here in Georgia way back when. For the last 15 years or so, I haven't seen any frost.

I graduated in 74 and it was that way in B'ham too. One of our sons is a high school math teacher and school started back last Thursday.

Can't speak for ALL of the south, but here on the Gulf Coast of FL., ya dig down that deep, and you got the water table to contend with...not to mention the very sandy soil.
