Phew, I thought I was way behind on my own past. OTOH, I tend to agree with Richard. I wasn't the greatest Beatles fan at the time they arrived here. I still tend to raise my hackles when some kid writes that there wasn't any rock 'n roll between them and Elvis. Rock radio in '64 was a pain because the DJs acceded to the girls who had major estrogen problems over John, Paul, George and Ringo. Funny thing though, my recent music project has revealed that I seem to have more Beatles' songs than anyone else's. As for Cummings, I didn't understand his problem in high school and I still don't. Probably those two years of German warped my mind. :)

Interesting. Didn't know about a second Civil War cavalryman. The one I have has two heads to allow for your choice of sides. No Hobbycrafts around here. Unless you're in to model railroads this is a dead spot for hobbyshops now. 35 years ago we had 5 or 6. Ah, Progress!

i listened to mostly motown and blues then. hated the beatles and beach boys. liked arthur brown, any tamy artist. stone flute, etc.
I, like many boys, hated the Beatles. It was a girl's band. A short time after the Beatles, my favorite British band arrived. It still is, 40 years later, and hasn't gathered any moss yet.
That's the one in the set. There are two copies of it in the box, so you can build both versions.

Thank god someone knew that! I was worried I'd have to delve into my stash to find out...
I can just about remember Beetles being played back in the 1960s (born in
62) and I did not like them, that said I can remember the last Doors single being released - but had no idea who they were!PolyTech Forum website is not affiliated with any of the manufacturers or service providers discussed here.
