Alternative to throwing out partially used ca

After going down to Sam's Club to do my grocery shopping. I stopped offat Borders and picked up the March issue of Fine Scale Modeler. In theirreaders tip col. they had a good tip that I think should solve the problemthat most people were complaining about, i.e. ca "drying" out in the tipand preventing the tube from being used any further. The suggetion is to use Testors glue tips on the tube/bottle, it forms adouble air chamber and the tube/bottle doesn't get clogged. The glue tipmay have to be replaced from time-to-time, but (depending on the cost ofthe ca) it should be cheaper then ending up tossing a partially usedtube/bottle of ca. The time was sent in by a Daniel Holmes.

I generally keep a long hat pin of the same diameter as the cap-pin to clean out plugs. One such has lasted about ten years before it finally bent up so bad that I had to replace it. I prefer one about two or three inches long and feed it in slowly. Works 98% of the time.
