Decal solutions over acrylics?

Given the fact that decal solutions are nothing more than watered downvinegar and alcohol, how can I avoid an ugly reaction between thesolutions and underlying clearcoat? FWIW, the clearcoat is Future in somespots and Krylon acrylic clear in others. Waiting a week or two reallyisn't an option on this. As an aside, I only use MM acryls and enamels.
