Fixing flimsy wings

Just got another AmTech P-40 and was remined of the ridiculously flimsy the wings are, with the warps going different directions. One end also has a bend in addition to the twist and the very soft plastic complicates it all further. There are no pins and holes so some of the twist should be fixed by careful detwisting while gluing but I don't think either half is substantial enough to hold it true.

Thought about glueing a brass flat to one half to stiffen it up, rubber banding them to a board and carefully squirting in a small amount of expanding foam, or cutting a interior piece of renshape which could take a long time to get right.

Anyone have a fix?

Mine were a "little" warped too but some hot water and careful bending got them in pretty good shape. Then when I glued them together, I only applied the cement in small areas so I could get rid of the remaining warp through construction. When the wing was finished it was quite rigid and there was no need for any internal strengthening.

I use Tamiya liquid cement in small amounts so it sets up really fast. To be sure the warp doesn't creep back in, I suppose you could tape the wing to a flat board of some kind while it cures. Glue joints can be softened with a touch more cement in case you need to really move something.
