Gloster Gladiator, nice deal.

Hi Troops:

I picked up the latest edition of Roden's Gloster Gladiator kit at my local plastic emporium over the weekend. They call it the "Met Reconnaissance and Foreign Service" kit. It contains all the parts to make either a Mk.I, Mk.II or Sea Gladiator in one package, along with decals for British Met Recon aircraft, plus Belgian, Swedish, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Latvian and captured aircraft in Russian and German service. Only caveat with the kit is that it comes with an instrument panel only for a Mk.II or Sea Gladiator. If you want a correct Mk.I board get the True Details resin cockpit set.

Wow, how'd they miss the Finnish ones? ;)

typical Roden behavior--if there's a chance of later issues, hold off and get the COMPLETE kit. That's why I'm waiting on the Be 12.

The Finnish markings were in one of their previous releases, along with ski under carriage I believe. The skiis are the one feature they appear to have left out of this release.
