Please let us know what you come up with for this project. I've been wanting to do a hedgerow diorama with a Sherman tank for years.

Try them again...but this time, tell them you are doing a small-scale diorama, showing young sandal-clad, European college students, gathered at an anti-Western and anti-Capitalism rally, amidst the lush, hedgerow-surrounded lawn, of a "for the common peoples'" government-owned and controlled, public park, in a typical Socialist European nation. And tell them it is being built to place in a museum that will chronicle all the horrors of past Western imperialism and colonialism. Maybe *then*, they will acknowledge your presence.

Well that sure confused me! LOL

Thinking about it, my question was that i was doing some British plastic railway buildings/ bridges and wanted to know what colours etc to use, but that i was a military modeller and didnt like railway stuff but building them to sell on to non builders...

"didn't like railway stuff"

Ooh, I think I see why now. You may not have intended to denigrate their chosen form of fun but you did. I'd try again and sound enthusiastic about the hobby. Building structures isn't all that different than vehicles and you might pick up some tips that you can use. I found all of my hobbies fed each other ideas and techniques.

Aaahhh yes! The "Cullen Hedgerow Device"! I heard that General Mark Clark drove 50 miles to see a demonstration of the prototype and slapped a Top Secret label on it right away. Apparently the potential difficulties of operations in that environment was anticipated.
