Matchbox 1/72 Hawk _200_

Just flicking idly through an old copy of Scale Models that I inherited, and I saw a picture of a built-up Matchbox Hawk 200 (the single seater, which I've always thought of as a Hurricane for the 90s...) "one of ten exciting kits scheduled for this year" (1984, IIRC). Did they ever actually release it? Did Revell re-pop it, if they did?

Any sign of the first resin conversion for a Hawk 200 in 1/48, yet?

Best regards, Matt

I remember seeing the Hawk 200 kit on store shelves circa 1986/87, but haven't seen it since. AFAIK Revell hasn't reissued it.

I've wanted to kitbash the Hawk 200 with an Italeri/Testors T-45 Goshawk to make a solo Goshawk, but it's way down on my priorities list.

It was released, I have one knocking around on the pile somewhere. Shape wasn't too bad, but they let the Matchbox trench digger loose on the previously smooth wings!

In 1995, Malaysia and Oman had the Hawk 200. Not sure if anyone else has bought them since then.

It came out, it was based (IIRC) on the mock up. Scalcast did a detail/correction set for it.

I'm waiting for it to be released so I can cross kit it with the Italeri 100 series kit
