OT: preserving organic material

A piece of toast containing something looking like an image of Virgin Mary is fetching a high price:

So if any of us get something valuable popping out the toaster, what's the best way to preserve it? Will "vitrifying" in clear casting resin do?

Damn! I just checked my breakfast. I think I can see the image of Jim Morrison in my oatmeal. Wonder how much that will earn for me on eBay?

Cut that out! We both know that we older guys do the oatmeal for fiber which leads to the media of other so-called modelers.

How ironic...this morning...the burn marks on *my* toast... ...looked just like Jim Morrison *eating* oatmeal!

I saw the Revell 1/32 Raiden in my Captain Crunch this morning.

who me?

At least it didn't look like Jimi Hendrix gagging on a piece of toast that looked like Jim Morrison....

Nahhh....I think this would be more of a Catholic sort of thing; like what always seems to be "discovered" in Mexico....lol.

What I'd love to know is what kind of idiot spends $28,000 for ten-year old toast? Heck, I can't get bids on usable stuff at low prices!

Yeah, maybe if I burn the image of VM onto my boxes or plastic I'd be able to sell them for a decent price. Ya know, I searched for this item last week; it had apparently been removed by ebay but there were three pages of "virgin mary grilled cheese" auctions. I think that's called keyword spamming.

Golden Palace (a casino) bought the VM grilled cheese sandwich. I guess they can afford it... Cheers,
