Noticed with some amusement Revell's Hindenberg model art. Had big empty

I'd love to see a zep w/o them--the WW1 zeps or the US Navy zeps--everytime one comes out it's always the H.

zeps--everytime one

I recall as early as the late 1950s buying a Me 109

1/72 (type and manufacturer unkn) that had the Swastika embossed on the tail assembly but no such item on the decal sheet? I took the problem to my Dad who with the aid of a felt tip marker filled in the embossed tail section. I do recall that the styrene was almost a burgundy color and to this day still wonder who manufactured this kit? Ohh Yeah...I also purchased this at a Kroger grocery store :-) Ohh them good ole days! My first kit purchase was one of those engine sound kits where you had to wrap your own copper coil. Never did work. Got it at a Mayfair grocery store in Salt Lake City, 1966. I think the Raley's grocery chain still sells kits, at least the one in Pinole, CA used to.

You could be right there John. I remember my Dad said I was getting better at building models because that one had less fingerprints on it than the previous one .:-) Take Care and Happy Modeling Mike IPMS
