Regarding the Weekend Build Competition and my schwimmwagen.

Hi Folks,
Some of you may remember I ran a poll a few weeks back to gauge the response to a weekend build competition. In the end, I decided a competition was not
in order, but i did get positive response in regards to a weekend gallery where people could contribute a model that was built in a weekend.
Well, I guess I had to show that it is possible to build a model in a weekend. Noone said anything about size, so I settled for the smallest thing I could find.
Here is the completed model in 1:72 scale

and also the Works in progress

It was a lot fun and i've learned a few tricks can benefit those who may not have the time they wished they had to dedicate to the hobby.
Your are welcomed to contribute to the gallery if you like.
cheers

Thanks keeper, I should put a warning in there though. Make sure you treat your partner (in my case, my wife) to a nice dinner. They may forgive you then for neglecting them and the chores all weekend.

No wife; I learned from others mistakes. I visit the girlfriends twice a week. You don't think any woman would live in this zoo do you? 8^) Cheers,
The Keeper (of too much crap!)
