Strim Su-24M Fencer D, first look

I just got from Hannants the new 1/72 Su-24M Fencer D from a russian company called "Strim" (or Stream or Streem, depending on how you translate from cyrillic).

The parts are very nice with fine recessed panel lines and rivets and they seem accurate (even if I don't have reliable drawings to check) in any case it's a lot better than the Dragon/Italeri kit. The level of detail seems good, even in the cockpit, however I have a spare Neomega cockpit and I'll check if it fits. The decal sheet for 2 grey/white Fencers is very nice as is the instructions sheet with even a page showing what kind of weapons can be carried (and telling the right pylon/rail for any weapon). I wonder why big manufacturers don't make such good sheets. Unfortunately it's all in russian...

Looking at the sprues layout maybe other versions (Fercer C, E or F) will follow.

I can't comment on fit as the parts are still on the sprues, however it seems that some filler will be needed here and there to have smooth joints.

From the general layout, the dark gray plastic and engraved rivets it reminds me of the VES Su-15TM, maybe they are from the same company?

Yuri, thanks for your quick review! I had my Dragon Fencer-E on hold, because I heard rumors about a new Fencer about a year ago. The new model will surely save me a *lot* of work!
