My company is looking to hire an additional mechanical design engineer. Here is the quoted text of our ad on our website:
MECHANICAL ENGINEER/CAD DESIGNER Create complex drawings & solid models. Design mechanical components and systems. Write bills of material, complete engineering documents and develop technical product manuals. Successful candidate will have BSME degree and 2-3 years experience drafting, designing and developing mechanical components and systems. Experience with foundry processes desired. Experience with MS Office, Excel spreadsheets, Internet Explorer and experience with Solid Works, or Pro E (desired). Experience with automotive aftermarket products is desired.
I thought this would be a good place to advertise this to find an experienced Solidworks user. We use SW for the majority of work, but we do have Pro/e that gets used occasionally. Solidworks skills are more important for this position.
The tpye of work expected will include various aftermarket components related to diesel engine performance as well as special design projects related to our racing efforts.
