GeometryWorks3D V3.0 for SolidWorks 2003 Now Available



June 18, 2003--CAD/CAM Components, Inc., a developer of surface modeling software and a SolidWorks Gold Partner, announces the release of GeometryWorks3D Version 3.0, a freeform surface modeling software to offer single window integration with SolidWorks 2003.



Specifically developed for use in the industrial design and biomedical environments, GeometryWorks3D offers greater functionality for industrial designers, such as the new Cross Sectional surfaces tool that provides enhanced control of complex surfaces within SolidWorks

Helix spline creation Helix tube creation Helix on Helix functionality, which lets users develop a helix tube surface around a helix spline Blanket Surface, which develops a single surface out of many Single Entity Geometric Properties (gprop), which allows users to get the geometric properties of any entity type surface-to-surface QA checking cylinder-wrapping around solid surfaces, tube surfaces, or splines Surface Mapping system
