You mean parentheses? ( or ), not " or '? Parentheses ((,)) (boy this is confusing) show up on reference dims (grayed out dims). This can be turned off for new dims in Tools, Options, Doc Properties, Dimensions, (Add parentheses by default). To turn them off for existing dimensions, use the selection filter to filter dimensions, box select the whole drawing, RMB, Display Options, and turn off Show Parentheses.

"Quotations" as far as I know are "never" shown on SW dims.

Sorry, i guess i was being too vague. I am dimensioning a drawing in drawing mode in inches. I am trying to get rid of the (") at the end of the dimension shown. eg. (.125"). i want to bet rid of this because my tolerence note on my boarder says " all dimensions are in inches, and it is pointless to have all my dimensions have a (") after the dimension.

thnx.

The only time I have seen the (") tagged onto the dimension is when the units are set to fractions. But your example is a decimal dimension. Is your version of SW a US version? If not, that might have something to do with it....I'm not sure.

oops. completely misread what you were talking about.

I agree it sounds like a fractional thing. You might need to set your templates to decimal. If you want to use fractional without the " at the end, I can't find a way to do that.
