How much does the basic package of SW cost?

In the US it costs $3,995 plus maintenance. In Europe and Asia it costs more or less.

It cannot be resold legally because SW won't generate new registration codes unless they approve the sale and they only do that if you are buying a company that has SW as an asset IIRC

There is a student version. Search the internet..

Software is the only thing you have to buy that you cannot sell.

You can thank Bill Gates for that after he copied the Windows GUI from Steve Jobs, he didn't want the same happening to him.
