Is there a way to flag issues for later attention?

I periodically have to put a quick model together for sales, and it is close to correct, with a few dangling design details I need to remember to work out later.

Is there a way in solidworks to help me remember?

Thanks

One very simple way would be to add a "Comment". This is an existing SW Function.

You can add comments to items in the tree, then later run your cursor down the tree to see what you have left for later.

You could try using the design binder

To display the Design Binder:

In the FeatureManager design tree, right-click the document name, and select Hide/Show Tree items.

In the System Options - FeatureManager dialog box, under Hide/Show Tree Items, for Design Binder, select Show.

Click OK.

This is a word doc, so you could print it out and keep with the project.

You could create folders in the design tree to collect features that need further attention.

In SW 2008 You can add tags to SW documnets to filter feature manager tree. Haven't tried it myself yet but remember seeing it at the release party

You could put unfinished features into folders. That way the "tag" is visible right in the feature tree without having to look for comments or open the design binder.

Sorry for double-post. Thought the first didn't go thru.

If you dont' like the other answers, you can add a bunch of #### marks at the front or back of the feature name, perhaps with some text to remind you of what you need to do.
