Limit Distance Mates

Hello, Im currently trying to use the limit distance mate in SW 2005 and I am having a bit of trouble. The mate works well in the original assembly, but when you insert that assembly into another assembly it no longer works properly. The distances are not carried over. Thanks, Scott

Based on the small amount of info here, you might try making the sub flexible. That way the sub mates should solve in the upper assy.
