There is going to be a SP before Sp5.0 I believe and it's in Early Visiblity right now. You should probably see it before the end of the week or maybe early next week. I don't think it will support XP SP2 either.

2004 SP4.2 is next. 2004 SP5.0 officially supports XP SP2.
