I don't think SW's prices have changed in a lonnnnng time. if ever.

Actually I held off on buying for a while, but it is such a great tool I happily bought it and haven't regretted it.

For comparison, good CAM software is about twice the cost of good CAD software (like SW).

Good CAM Verification software to verify toolpaths (Vericut) is about twice the cost of CAM software like Mastercam, SurfCam or SolidCAM.

It all seem backwards in some way.
