Looking for engineers, Colo North Fork area

Hi, I have a good sized HO DCC layout, mostly steam in transitsion era and need train crews/engineers to operate. There will be no cost to any of my train crews. I am on the Crawford Airport which is 10mi S of Hotchkiss off Hiway 92. Hotchkiss is abt 20mi E of Delta which is 30 mi SE Grand Junction.

I am into signaling and computer control and if nothing else like to at least chat about things. I use Digitrax for the DCC and most of my locos are sound equipped. I know electronics & computers quite well. For what its worth I use Atlas switch machines on top of the layout - too lazy & old to work from under. I use latch relays with them if I want a stady state indication of the turnout position. much cheaper than Atlas snap relays.

I belong to the Yahoo Digitrax & Soundtraxx groups.

If really interested contact off list snipped-for-privacy@earthlink.net Larry in Colorado

Phil, You need the Chief which comes with a DCS100 command station/booster and a DT400 throttle. You can add more boosters as needed. You can use DS54 and DS52 switch controllers. Block detectors are the BDL162 and a BD4. The 162 is smart and the BD4 is dumb. Digitrax itself doesn't offer soud but you can use Soundtraxx and other DCC sound products.
