etching and transfers

Looks interesting. I am looking to see if the process can make logos and transfers etc. It's amazing what printing is moving into now. We had our housewarming party recently and my mother-in-law bought us an iced cake from a supermarket on which they had printed a photograph of us moving in. The process was really intended for birthday cakes, etc but was a nice touch with excellent picture quality. It even tasted nice.

They are 14 miles up the road from here :-)

There is another product from the US which produces a thinner result and is much better but I can't remember the name at the moment.

We have used it but it produces a very thick transfer not like the original waterslides. Other thing is you have to take care with the inks as most seem to fade in subnlight after a while. Still a useful product though.
