You can now get them printed as normal chemical prints using the digital service in photo printshops - the digital image is projected onto the paper by LEDs and wet processed in the same machine as the traditional

35mm prints (simplified description), so longevity is the same as 100% chemical prints - same price too in the local Jessops - 40 prints for about 7pounds.
