There's also an interesting variable stroke Witte on the same site - an attempt at an Atkinson Cycle?

Not sure which is worse, Mr Atkinson's multiple links thrashing about all over the place or this wierd gear driven eccentric on a crank affair. Apparently some modern car engines simulate an Atkinson cycle by closing the inlet valve before BDC calling it a Miller cycle.
