At Beeston Castle market ground (near Tarporley, Cheshire) today at 10:30. I'm going to see if anything takes my fancy, though I've little idea how many lots are under the hammer.

Cheers, there was a lovely hit-and-miss Amanco engine that looked very original. LT magneto and the hopper looked almost free from rust inside. I didn't wait to see it go because it would be almost certain to fetch big bucks, beyond a level that I could justify for a toy.
I did see, for the first time, a Massey 135 with a power steering kit fitted. I'd been toying with the idea of fitting one to my 135 (it's a heavy swine with its loader fitted) but have changed my mind due to the amount of modifications involved.
There's another vintage sale in two weeks (Wright Manley) south of Warrington near Daresbury I think.
Julian.
Hi Julian, Its the remains of a vintage collection & its near Moore. See
I don't suppose anyone has a single leg subsoiler or mole plough going cheap? (and near Cheshire)
Julian.
Lots of mud!

I bet!
No I didn't go, I had a mini-digger that needed attention yesterday. I'm after a (spin-on) hydraulic filter for the thing, its got no numbers on it, just Japanese, do you know of any good filter specialists in the Warrington area who could match me one up?
Cheers Julian.
Not really, not now. You could try K&N, but I don't think it's really their sort of thing. They might be able to put you on to someone else, though
What sort of digger?
Tim
I found a place called Talbot Components in Market Drayton (of all places) who specialise in filters, the chap was ever so helpful and spent about 15 minutes in the books and measuring the filter's dimensions for just £6.00! I felt a bit guilty so bought 10 gallons of hydraulic oil from him to allow him a bit of profit! It's a 2.2 ton Mitsubishi and the hydraulic filter (return) orifice was 1 and a 1/4 '' imperial thread - I'd have never guessed in a million years that the Japs use imperial fittings...
