Cleaning filings off welding magnets

I have several triangle welding magnets, that always seem to get loaded with filings.

A secret cleaning technique will be greatly aappreciated!

Duct tape. Couple of strips will clean any magnet of debris

If I've got the air hoses all unrolled & handy, I use that. Otherwise, I use one of the many old toothbrushes laying around. A few quick pulls and it's all off. Probably better than the air!

I use a torch on my magnetic straight edge to get rid of them. They disintegrate very quickly.

A quick swipe with a wire brush takes off most of it and if I need it really clean duct tape takes care of the rest.

I have a couple of those rare earth magnets. I wrap one in a rag and drag it over the welding magnet. It collects all the fuzz, the welding magnet is clean, when I pull the rag off the other magnet, it is clean, when I shake out the rag, it is clean.
