Hi, I need to know how I can adapt a Centrifugal Clutch from a 40cc Poulan Chainsaw to a 5.5HP Honda engine with a 3/4" Horizontal Shaft.......and whether or not it will work.

Even if you get the thing fitted, it's unlikely that the speed at which the clutch engages will be the same for both engines. I suspect the Honda motor won't turn fast enough to engage a clutch designed for a high RPM two-stroke. As well, the torque of the Honda engine dealing with the inertia of a cart and driver would burn the clutch up pretty quickly even if it did engage.
One can buy an inexpensive bolt-on clutch that's designed for the task at any kart or mini bike supply store. Try:

Just get a cheap go-kart or minibike clutch. The little chainsaw clutch is for much higher speeds and much, much less power and torque. And probably nearly impossible to adapt to a 3/4" shaft without losing all strength.
