where do i want the dig control on the miler inverter machine for arc welding different rods? for 6011/6010 i am quessing around 50, higher for 7018 or do i have this back asswards? i am curious about 308L and

316L rod setting opinions also.

Increasing the "dig" control reduces the open circuit voltage. It is kind of silly to have it backwards like this. rods like 6010 and 7018 really like high open circuit voltages (OCV), while 6011, 6013 and 7014 prefer slightly lower OCV. Stainless rods will also prefer a lower OCV. You can play with it to see what works best.
