First attempt at tig

My problem is I can lay a nice looking bead on the aluminum,but when I add fill it looks grity.

3/32 pure 3/32 filler 100A 2 pieces of the same scrap aluminum. And where should I start off setting the balance on a syncroware 180sd Thanks

IIRC, my older sd180 came with a factory preset 65% EP. Good cleaning with more than adaquet penetration.
