How to reverse the weld-pak 3200 drive roller

Hi All,

Goofy question I'm sure, but I bought a lincoln weld-pak 3200 HD and I can't figure out how to remove the drive roller in order to swap it to the smooth groove. No mention of this in the user manual as far as I could see.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I haven't used this model but our modern big lincoln feeders are easy. Once you release the rolls from the tension they pull off the shafts. There is a detent on the shaft and simply pull off with a firm grip. No pliers or tools required. Older feeders had allen screws that secured the roll. Randy

I'll give her a shot with a little tug. Thanks.

Ya no dice... There's no way it should be as hard to pull off as it is.... even gave 'er a good wiggle'in.

Any other ideas?

I am sure it is the as my (ex) Lincoln Pro mig 135. in that case , open up the tensioner, turn the wire speed know to its slowest settnig, pull the trigger on your welding gun, and watch the bottom feed roller close ly.

you will see a resessed allen head set screw , when the set screw facing upword use the supplied alen wench to loosen the drive roller and flip it over. align with the wire and retighten

good luck
